Sheep / Lambs

CIAA yarded 1550 lambs and 1000 sheep of 6500 lambs and 3500 sheep. Competition was lacking with one southern processor no in attendance today. Lambs started very slow with a lack of enthusiasm throughout the sale. Lambs trended down $5 – $10. Hoggets trended down $10 – $15 and mutton slid $20 – $30. Merino lambs were again in very short supply and x-bred suckers really started to dry off.
