On the back of some very good pricing being offered over the next few months, prices lifted across the board at Dublin today. Very few Heavy X-bred lambs offered this week topping at $276 with many x-bred lambs hovering between $9.00 and $9.50/kg throughout the sale. The strongest demand was on all types of store lambs and light to medium trade lambs that could be put back on feed. A good supply of grain-fed hoggets offered this week with very strong demand topping out at $205 with many hoggets $160+. Mutton sold to increased demand with better heavy types returning up to $220 many sheep above $160 with quality being rewarded.
