7000 Lambs & 4500 Sheep Yarded today. CIAA making up a small percent of this due to being 4th sale in the market. Despite this CIAA had an outstanding sale. Sucker lambs to $208, old season lambs to $235 with good mutton $85-$100. Good but limited demand for grain assisted hoggets. No merino lambs yarded today. |

7500 lambs and just over 4000 mutton presented today with CIAA yarding 1280 lambs and 1420 sheep. Sum of the day was the lamb market, down 5 – 10 and more in some pens. Mutton gained all of the last weeks losses. Well presented suckers were $7.40 - $7.55. plenty of competition on store suckers and old season lambs with time on their side. |

Total yarding today of 11500 lambs and 7500 sheep. A very large yarding brought on by the lack of rain fall across SA has seen many producers starting to quit livestock much earlier than usual. Processors demand has slid slightly on the back of this and thus todays market saw a general side of $5 - $15 across all categories. |

More sucker lambs presented today meeting demand from most processors. Any lambs with the weight made above expectations. Store lambs ere in plentiful supply and demand was only from feed lots. Heavy mutton was in demand, light mutton was harder to sell. |

Outstanding single
pen of suckers from the NYP topped at $245 followed by plenty of light store suckers
of the x-bred and merino type. Lots of secondary merino lambs today and an
assortment of hoggets on offer. Mutton fell $20 - $30 by the back end of todays
market. Plenty of demand for feeder lambs. |

A Merino dominated
sale today across all the agents. Prices mostly firm on last week. We saw a
lift on $10 - $15 in the mutton market. Lots of demand for late season store
lambs. There was a spattering of sucker lambs throughout today’s market with
the best selling to $155 down to $60 for very light sucker store lambs. |

Very
difficult to quote with such low numbers in our lamb market. Heavy Merino lambs
were in strong demand along with hoggets. Mutton saw a big slide on last week
losing $20 - $30 whereas Boner ewes held firm. |

CIAA yarded 900 lambs and 250 sheep. Better competition from local butchers. Saw our Trade and Heavy Trade lambs firm on last week. Plenty of competition on late drop. Store lambs to go on feed. Heavy Mutton was stronger on last week and still excellent competition on Hoggets. |
